Dallas Arboretum – March 16, 2015

The Dallas Blooms event is a display of more than half-a-million bulbs including tulips, daffodils, Dutch Iris and hyacinths interspersed with over 100,000 pansies and viola. The colors and arrangements are amazing!

My favorite area was the grotto and waterfall in the Lay Family Garden. The grotto was filled with fossils and crystalline geodes. There were several “waterwalls” throughout the area.

I added a painterly effect to a few of the photos using Fotosketcher software.
