Thailand Night and Painterly Images – November 2015 (3 of 5)
It did rain and cloud up on some evenings, but we did manage to get in a bit of night photography, mostly from the roof of our hotel in Bangkok.
Of course I had to play around with some of my images – can’t resist torturing those pixels. I mostly went for a “grungy” look this time.

Thank you for posting these photos which open my eyes on how these scenes should be taken. I am glad to have such a talented tour mate but regret missing the opportunity to follow her closely and learn from her. May be next time.
I sure hope there will be a next time, Harold. You were such a joy to travel with – such a gentleman and a wonderful sense of humor we all enjoyed so much.
Wonderful processing and playing.
Lamplight is a great shot. I love how it’s presented. Great work.
River View Grunge is great. So neat.
Same with the zoom blur of the temple. Love them all!
Thanks! I have really enjoyed playing with a new program from Topaz. It is a texture effects program and is so easy, but can really drain time. I get lost in it.
Enjoying your photos, Patti; thanks for sharing your trip!
Thanks, Judy! Thailand is so different from anywhere else I have ever been. The trip was amazing.
